New here? Run through this list before your first scan. It takes 10 minutes and gets you maximum coverage.
Step 1 — Verify Your Email
Click the link in the welcome email. Brokers send confirmation emails to this address, so it has to work.
Step 2 — Add Your Full Name + Date Of Birth
Go to [Settings → Profile]. Enter the full name brokers know you by — including any middle name, maiden name, or common misspelling. Add your DOB. Brokers use age range to disambiguate people with common names.
Step 3 — Add Your Current Address
[Settings → Profile → Locations]. Be exact — apartment number matters.
Step 4 — Add 2-3 Previous Addresses
Add every address from the past 5-10 years. See Adding Old Addresses for why this matters.
Step 5 — Add Phone Numbers
[Settings → Profile → Phone Numbers]. Add your current cell, your old cell (if you switched in the last 5 years), and your work line. Brokers match on phone too.
Step 6 — Trigger Your First Scan
Go to [Brokers] and click Run Scan. The first scan takes 10–30 minutes. You can close the tab — we will email when it is done.
Step 7 — Review Broker Results
Check the Confirmed and Possible tabs. Click Confirm on Possible matches that look right.
Step 8 — Enable 2FA
[Settings → Security → Enable 2FA]. Save your backup codes (see Backup Codes Explained).
Step 9 — Pick A Tier
