Payment failed? Here are the usual reasons and how to fix them.
Declined Card
Your bank blocked the charge. This happens with new cards or when the bank flags the transaction. Call the number on the back of your card and ask them to approve charges from DeData Privacy Labs.
Expired Card
Stripe will tell you the card is expired. Update it at [Settings → Billing → Payment Method].
Address Mismatch (AVS Failure)
The billing address on file doesn't match what your bank has. Update the billing address in [Settings → Billing → Payment Method] so it matches your card statement exactly.
Insufficient Funds
Add a backup card or top up your account.
Dunning Grace Period
When a payment fails, we retry for 7 days before suspending. You will get an email each retry. During this window your service keeps running. After 7 days the account is paused until payment clears.
Where To Update Your Card
[Settings → Billing → Payment Method → Update Card]. We never see your card number — Stripe handles it directly.
