Yes, in three situations. The full policy lives at /legal/refund-policy and is referenced in our Terms of Service §7A.
1. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
If you are a brand new paid subscriber and you are not happy, email billing@dedatalabs.org within 14 days of your first paid charge. We refund the full amount. No questions, no forms, no friction. This works once per customer on your first paid plan.
2. Pro-Rated Refund If We Underdeliver
If we cannot complete auto-removal for at least 80% of the brokers in your tier within 30 days of activation, you can request a pro-rated refund of fees paid for that 30-day window. You have 14 days after the 30-day window closes to ask (so day 44 from activation is the deadline).
We exclude brokers we have flagged as manual-guide-only for your tier (some require phone confirmation we can't do for you).
3. California Cooling-Off
California residents have 30 days under California Civil Code §1789.30 to cancel an ongoing-services contract for a full refund. Email billing@dedatalabs.org with subject "California Cooling-Off Notice" within 30 days of your first charge.
What Is Not Refundable
- Annual plans past the 14-day window (cash refund). We may offer pro-rated account credit.
- Use that was guides-only — viewing manual opt-out guides without running automated removals.
- Accounts terminated for ToS violations.
- Reappearance of previously removed records (we re-submit automatically, no refund).
- Charges older than 90 days.
How To Request
Email billing@dedatalabs.org with subject "Refund Request — <your account email>" or use Settings → Billing → Request Refund. A human responds within 5 business days. Approved refunds post via Stripe in 5–10 business days.
One Hard Rule On Chargebacks
Talk to us before disputing with your bank. Filing a chargeback without contacting us first is grounds for permanent service denial under our Terms of Service §7. Direct contact resolves billing issues faster than card-network disputes anyway.
